There’s something special about escaping into the mountains for a night, leaving the busy world behind, and slowing down for a little while. That’s exactly what we did for this cozy camp in the mountains of Oregon.

We found a secluded mountaintop campsite tucked away in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet forest roads. After setting up camp, we spent the afternoon exploring nearby trails and a river before settling in for a relaxing evening of golden-hour views and dinner under the stars.

But the best part of the trip came the next morning. We woke up completely surrounded by thick, beautiful fog, with the mountains disappearing into the mist around us. It was peaceful, a little magical, and one of those moments that reminds us why we love camping so much.

We made fresh coffee, experimented with some fun breakfast s’mores (including a banana cream pie version!), and took our time enjoying the morning before heading out to explore a beautiful, moss-covered forest.

Trips like this remind us that the best adventures don’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, all we need is a quiet campsite, good coffee, a little exploring, and time together outdoors.
